Babacar Diop is 16 years old and currently attends Ellis Preparatory Academy in the Bronx. He migrated over from Dakar, Senegal just last year and has since been doing his best to adjust to life in the US. Between living in a shelter and adjusting to the language, things haven't been easy. He has been in and out of soccer teams but long travel times and a pay to play model have limited his opportunities. Upon completing our 3 day scouting event, we have invited Babacar to train with our men’s group to further develop him.

     Needless to say, he is progressing nicely and our goal is to get him a full scholarship to a university where he can continue to play the game he loves while providing a better life for his family. We kindly appreciate all of your donations, 100% of which will go to providing Babacar with necessities like a winter coat, new soccer cleats, boots (timberland's preferably, he's a New Yorker), gloves and a nice warm winter hat. Anything helps. Babacar deserves these things like any other kid does.
