The Fussball Project was founded on the principle of opportunity.

From the very beginning, we understood that not everyone is given the same opportunities in life.

Millions of young people around the world dream of playing professional football. Many of these are talented, hard-working individuals who would give anything to live their dream but simply don’t have access to the right tools to do so.

By a similar token, many people aspire to create a better life for themselves but are restricted by their circumstances and the lot they were dealt.

The world is unequal, but we all can and should do our best to make it fairer.

That’s why we couldn’t be more proud to announce that The Fussball Project is now an Official Supporter of Common Goal.

Common Goal was started by Juan Mata and streetfootballworld earlier this year as a means to put football’s immense power and popularity to use for social good.

With the players leading by example, the movement aims to unlock 1% of the sport’s revenues for football-related charities.

So far, stars like Mats Hummels, Alex Morgan, Giorgio Chiellini, Megan Rapinoe and Shinji Kagawa have already joined the team.

The Fussball Project will play our part by pledging immediately to give 1% of our earnings to the project.

We hope that our actions inspire others in the community to follow suit and we look forward to being a part of the movement.

One love,
The Fussball Project team
